Yesterday, to begin the new year, I walked the four blocks over to the Rose Parade. I took a few pictures.

My favorite float was a self-made one by the city of La Canada Flintridge. As you can see it's a soda shoppe run by a walrus and penguins.

Other than that, yesterday was thinking about a few resolutions and goals for the next year. The most important one being for my writing. I'm going to submit my work much more and of course finish and revise what I've been working on. I reread my novel and want to continue to write that.
