A few weeks ago Gene and I went to the beach with a few of our friends. It was windy which made it perfect for flying a kite. Here's a picture of Gene doing just that. Doesn't it make you want to be in sunny California?

Two major writing things have happened:

First, the Beyond Convention scripts are in and we have about 115 scripts! It's been so exciting to have these from across the country (as well as the world). We're in the midst of reading them, but I think there's going to be some great scripts for the festival.

But more importantly, my poem "Losing A Glass Slipper" is going to be published in Smith and Kraus's book 221 Monologues from Literature. The book will come out in August 2007. I'm sending more poems out so that I can try to get them published! Woo-hoo!
